Making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study, available to all.

About Community Bible Study

ABOUT THE CLASS

This is a Co-Ed Class
Fridays at 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Adult core groups are available for Men, Women, Spanish-speaking Women, and adults with Special Needs. (see the Ministries section below for descriptions of these programs and our children's programs.)

Currently Studying: Acts

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Acts begins with Luke’s account of Jesus asking the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit to come, Pentecost. We’ll hear sermons from Peter and Paul, encounter Saul’s Damascus conversion, and move through 3 missionary journeys with Paul. There will be stoning, imprisoning, a snake bite, shipwrecks and trials all endured for “The Way” and God’s gospel. I cannot wait to dig in and study with you starting this year.

Enjoy your summer and spend some one-on-one time with our Lord. Be rejuvenated and ready to love your neighbor, as yourself. Embrace God’s word with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and with all your strength. "ALL" is a big theme throughout the New Testament. Looking forward to ALL being together again, beloved!

Grace and peace,

MINISTRIES

Children & Youth Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, craft, music, and games, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome nursery, preschool and homeschool children to experience the love of Jesus.   Homeschool classes study age appropriate editions of the same books the adults study.

Ethnos

If you’re a women whose first language is Spanish, then this specialized CBS group – Ethnos – might be just perfect for you! Our cities, neighborhoods, schools and communities are multicultural, and it’s our desire to bring the life-transforming benefits of an in-depth Bible study to all.

Agape

Agape is an in-depth Bible study for adults with special needs who want to study God’s Word together and share His love. We realize that higher functional adults with special needs often get overlooked, so it’s our vision to provide a study environment where you’ll be treated with respect and care.

Day Ministry - Teen Core Group

CBS Teens - Our teens study a condensed version of the adult lessons written to follow the same verses of study as the adults and other homeschool lessons, making it possible for the whole family to learn together.
