Adult core groups are available for Men, Women, Spanish-speaking Women, and adults with Special Needs. Child and Youth classes are available for 0-18 years old. (see the Ministries section below for descriptions of these programs.) Note: This is a co-ed class but male and female core groups are separate. We do not currently have co-ed or couples core groups.
The substance of Genesis lies in its timeless themes: The mighty power and greatness of God, His love for His creation, and His grace toward fallen mankind. In its pages, we see human history beginning to unfold in the garden of Eden. Human dignity and purpose, mankind's rebellion and judgment, and forgiveness by means of a promised Redeemer are revealed. Even after Noah's flood wiped out all but eight people of one sinful generation, the survivors' children and grandchildren still rejected God and built the Tower of Babel. God's redemptive plan continued to play out in the formation of the Hebrew nation in Egypt. Genesis displays God's holiness and faithfulness and His patient development of humanity's faith in a coming Messiah.
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, craft, music, and games, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome nursery, preschool and homeschool children to experience the love of Jesus. Homeschool classes study age appropriate editions of the same books the adults study.
If you’re a women whose first language is Spanish, then this specialized CBS group – Ethnos – might be just perfect for you! Our cities, neighborhoods, schools and communities are multicultural, and it’s our desire to bring the life-transforming benefits of an in-depth Bible study to all.
Agape is an in-depth Bible study for adults with special needs who want to study God’s Word together and share His love. We realize that higher functional adults with special needs often get overlooked, so it’s our vision to provide a study environment where you’ll be treated with respect and care.
CBS Teens - Our teens study a condensed version of the adult lessons written to follow the same verses of study as the adults and other homeschool lessons, making it possible for the whole family to learn together.
